SIGNS OF THE LIGHT
Some signs
to reflect upon

In Islamic belief, God has many names and attributes. One of those Names is the Light, and another is the Truth. In order to guide us to the Truth, God has placed signs of His Light in our lives, so that we may reflect on them and the amazing nature of our creation. These signs appear all around us in nature and within our own bodies. They also come in the form of wisdom and can be found in the revealed scriptures and the teachings of the Prophets. Here are some signs of the Light from the Qur’an and Sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him):

If any do deeds of righteousness, be they male or female, and have faith, they will enter Paradise and not the least injustice will be done to them. Quran 4:124

The best among you are those who are best to their families, and I am the best to my family.” The Prophet Muhammad, in Tirmidhi

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other. Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of God is (one who is) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things). Quran 49:13
