Islamic dress is one of many rights granted to Muslim women. Modest clothing is worn in obedience to God.

Clothes should not be form fitting, sheer or so eye catching as to attract undue attention or reveal the shape of the body.

Above: the Qur'an is the source of Divine guidance.
Left: long flowing chiffon is elegant and free with a touch of sparkle in the beadwork.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “ Allah does not look at your body and face, rather He looks at your heart."  
Right: Beautiful embroidery is the focus.
The word "hijab" means to veil, cover, screen, protect, seclude and obscure. But most importantly, it means barrier. It can be a barrier to protect and screen off a woman’s body and beauty from men and the public.
Left: Islamic dress is simple but often uses interesting fabrics and delicate details.
