Steeltoes & Stilletos: Reflections' Flagship Fundraiser
Steeltoes & Stilettos is our signature fundraiser. As Australia’s leading fundraiser for tradespeople, this inclusive event brings the risk of asbestos to the big stage to raise awareness of asbestos in WA’s construction industry.
Male and female trades sign up or are ‘dobbed in’ and sponsored to walk the runway with a model on their arm. There are five Trade Runway categories – Carpentry, Electrical, Masonry, Asbestos Removalists and Plumbing – and all five are vying for the Trade of the Year title, based on the amount of money raised.
It is an incredibly fun night with plenty of laughter and banter, but with an important message: fundraise for asbestos awareness and protect those exposed to it in their line of work.
